When placing items into storage, especially for long term you might want to remember the following helpful hints.
When loading your items, place the items you made need sooner towards the front so they can be easily accessed. Example; baby items - keepsakes to the back of valet, winter clothes nearest the door.
Protect furniture items otherwise scratching can occur.
Heavier items should be loaded on the floor/base and evenly distributed around the valet. Be aware that size has nothing to do with weight. You do not want an expensive lamp shade or table destroyed by a heavy book carton.
If you have multiple valets it is smart to list which items are in which valet, or sort them that way. So that when you access them later you do not have to look through all valets for one box.
Generally speaking, most items are stronger on their vertical plane as opposed to horizontal, so pack dishes on edge, stand up sofas on end, and tables on edge. This will conserve space as well!

If you have any questions about a certain item, ask our staff they would love to help you!
